Jim Merle has been with Babcox Media since 1993 and currently serves as publisher of the Brake & Front End, ImportCar and Underhood Service, Servicio Automotriz, Shop Owner and Tomorrow’s Technician brands. Prior to joining Babcox, Jim worked for the Akron Beacon Journal, formerly a Knight-Ridder publication. Jim has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Marketing/Advertising from the University of Akron.

Carley Millhone has served as the editor of Tomorrow’s Technician since 2017 and was named the editor of Servicio Automotriz in 2019. Carley is also the editor of the AAPEX Show daily publication AAPEX Express and originally joined Babcox Media in 2015 as associate editor of Tire Review. She has a bachelor’s degree in magazine journalism and a minor in writing from Kent State University.

Tomorrow’s Technician managing editor Tim Fritz has been with Babcox Publications since January 1990. He is also the managing editor of TechShop, as well as editor of the ImportCar, Underhood Service, Brake & Front End and Shop Owner newsletters. Tim has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from Malone University in Canton, Ohio.

Crystal Smith joined Babcox Media in 2019 as Associate Editor. Crystal is a graduate of Kent State University, earning her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and minoring in public health. Crystal was a daily news reporter for TV2 News with Kent State University, responsible for conducting interviews as well as shooting and editing videos in order to create newsworthy packages for live newscasts. She also worked as a Media Relations Intern for University Hospitals setting up and broadcasting live surgery procedures from inside operating rooms.

Katelyn Mueller joined Babcox Media in 2015. She is the Ad Services Coordinator for Brake & Front End, ImportCar, Maintenance Matters, Servicio Automotriz, Shop Owner, Tomorrow’s Technician, Underhood Service. Prior to Babcox, Katelyn spent 12 years with Sherwin Williams as a Sales Coordinator and nine years as a freelance reporter for the Cleveland Indians and Cavaliers. She graduated with a degree in broadcast communications and journalism.
